On losing weight
Ever since I started working at home, I also gained weight. From a mere 90-95 pounds, I went up to 120 pounds in just a few months. All this is because I have only been eating, sleeping, and working the whole day. Clicking my computer mouse, typing in my keyboard, walking just around the house, and with zero or no physical activity or exercise, helped a lot in gaining weight.
Last summer, I decided to enroll at Fitness First Eastwood and also have a personal trainor. At first, I was kind of hesitant in going to the gym as I know it would really take some of my time, instead of working I would be at the gym, sweating it out. I started working out three times a week before going to work. Sometimes, I do cardio in between. It was a little hard with all the exercises I have to do targeting the whole body (arms, shoulders, triceps, biceps, abs, legs, etc) to convert the fat to muscles. I got sore after each workout making it hard for me to move.
After 2 months, and a lot of "pasaway" moments, I felt lighter, and looking at the mirror, I know I lost weight already. I can wear my old clothes again (yey!). Friends say that I lost weight and they like it better compared to the chubby me hehe! The only problem right now, is my tummy. It's a little hard to make it go back to the flat tummy I used to have years ago. I hope, in time, with a lot of sacrifice, that means cutting out on softdrinks (my fave!) and foods that contribute to a bloated tummy.
My goal, I would be leaner and fitter in 2 or 3 months time, that would October 2009.
